Just Because: Scott Brown

I don't dislike Scott Brown but I certainly did not want him to win. Am I angry or upset he won....Yes, but not because he did it, but because the Democrats blew this one big time. I am also worried what it will mean for Health Care.

Just Because: Hotties on Judge Judy...

Ok, with this post people are either going to comment 'me too' (which I hope) or everyone is going to think I am an idiot.

I enjoy Judge Judy from time to time, sometimes she can be annoying, but often when not much is on, a little Judge Judy can be great background when I am doing some work. I have found myself recently drawn to some of the idiot defendants on the program. Yes, most are not that bright, most are not the nicest, most I would want nothing to do with in my real life. But... more than a few of them have provided a bit of eye candy on a cold winters day. If you think I am nuts, check out the show over a period of time, you get your fair share of losers, but once or twice a week there is a cutie on there who is drool worthy. (At least til they open their mouth anyway....)

(Note: The guy below is ok, but it was about the only picture I could find which even closely fit the theme of the post).

Just Because: Ray Santiesteban

Just because if you have not joined Ray Santiesteban's fanpage what are you waiting for! I love the above pic of Ray by Rick Day.

Just Because: It runs in the family

Donnie Wahlberg shows that acting is not the only thing that runs in the Wahlberg family. A great ass is also a family trait. Donnie recently gifted his twitter followers with a glimpse.

Just Because: Logos

If you look closely at the shot of adorable 19 year old Charlie McDermott what do you see. Nah, lol I am sure you see many things. Charlie, who plays the boxer wearing, and usually little else on ABC's 'The Middle' is actually shown in a scene without the annoying ABC logo at the bottom. Once in awhile you might get a few seconds of a scene after a commercial before the logo pops back up.

I HATE these logos. Not just for the obvious reasons. Yes, they are purely a marketing device and yes they are annoying. But for me they are more. They are reality busters. I watch tv, especially dramas to escape into another world. These logs constantly pull me back to the fact I am watching a tv show. I am one of those people who cannot relax if I see hairball or a piece of something on the floor while I am sitting on the couch. If I see something, even off to the side, I have to go throw it in the garbage before I can relax and enjoy the show or movie I am watching. These logs are hairballs to my tv enjoyment! Guess that is why I prefer my tv on DVD.

While I am at it, I have to give a thumbs down to my fellow bloggers who seem to think they should slap their logo on photos they post. Now don't get me wrong, I scan many pictures for this blog, I cap many shots myself. I get frustrated when I see them on other sites without credit.

But...Ultimately I am scanning and capping the work of others. I make it a point to always give proper credit when I can. Sometimes the hardest work in putting together a post on FH is tracking down photo credits. But...I believe it to be important. I had nothing to do with the great shots of Scott Herman below. Yes, Scott sent them to me, yes they are amazing, but they were taken by the wonderful Michael Tammaro. What right do I have to put a FH hunk logo on them???

The only logo that should be on a photo should be that of the artist. I ask my fellow bloggers to cease adding their own. Just sayin!

Just Because: Kellan Lutz in Miami

I love me some Kellan Lutz and am looking forward to his future work in his calvins. These high res photos from his recent trip to Miami certainly show every bump from his chest shaving. With the media would realize many of us like more of the natural look. Still so hot!

Just Because:

Just Because: Just because my parents cannot be the only people left who hang these ugly thread Christmas balls on their tree? Most have strings coming out due to decades of owning cats. (sorry to anyone who loves these things...)

Just Because:

Just Because: This will be my last day of regular posting until Sunday or Monday. Keep checking in as I will still be doing updates with news and pic of the day but I am going away for a few days over the holidays! I will save my Holiday wishes for a couple of days but enjoy your week everyone!!!

Just Because: Survivor's Brett Clouser

I was late to start watching the current edition of Survivor. My interest has decreased the last several years. I also hated being told by CBS and Jeff how Russell was going to be 'the' contestant of the season. Why not let the audience decided who they love and hate.

Over the last couple of episodes I have been loving Brett. He was in the background much of the season with bigger egos like Russell and Shambo (good bye) dominating much of the air time. But Brett, besides being adorable has come in to his own the last couple of weeks. I am not sure Brett is going to take the final prize, but I am glad to be able to watch him give it his all.

From Brett's Official Bio at CBS.Com

Age: 23
Hometown: Los Angeles, Calif.
Occupation: T-Shirt Designer

Brett Clouser grew up in Salem, Oregon before coming to LA in 2004 to attend Pepperdine University. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration, Clouser first decided to go the corporate route, only to find his passions were elsewhere. Brett then pursued his dream of launching a cause based clothing company which would soon become, “The Monument of Our Hearts.” An up-and-coming social entrepreneur, Clouser strives to leverage his brand to actively support and advocate for healthy body image.

Always a showman, Clouser loves to be in front of people and make them laugh. When he’s not operating his clothing company, Brett can be found in his element, the great outdoors. Never a fan of the gym, Brett enjoys trail running and extreme outdoor activities. His charm and competitive nature will make him a dynamic player and force to be reckoned with on SURVIVOR.
Brett is single and currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif. His birth date is December 27

Just Because: Once & Again...

Just because: Since we are discussing Jeffrey Nordling, where the heck is season 3 of Once and Again???? The wonderful show ran for 3 seasons on ABC. With a devoted following, the Sela Ward, Billy Campbell show has only released 2 seasons on DVD, with season 3 announced for release a few years ago. Season 3 NEVER materialized, and with just 1 left, please release it! This exceptional family drama also starred Shane West and Evan Rachel Wood and deserves closure on DVD.

Just Because: Grant Bowler

As many of you know I don't watch a lot of tv (except a couple of comedies and reality shows) when they actually air. Some of my favorite Dramas I save and watch when the entire season comes out on DVD. A couple of weeks ago I finished season 3 of Ugly Betty and the show was as enjoyable as ever. I really hope they move it from Friday nights before the network gives it the boot.

One of the highlights of last season was Australian actor Grant Bowler who played Connor Owens. Some of you in the US might also know Connor from his stint on Lost, but he has extensive credits on Australian Television. As I was hunting for info and pics of Grant, I did not have to any further than my fellow posters at Dreamcaps who had a great thread going, thanks! Look for Grant next on Season 3 of True Blood!!!

Just Because: Christian Brylle

Just because I love these amazing shots of model Christian Brylle. Christian with Scoop Models is one of the most interesting models working today. He certainly works the hair!
