~Eze, France~

Eze, France
(ok almost done with last year's trip posts finally! Just a few more)

"Èze has been described as an “eagle's nest” because of its location overlooking a high cliff 427 metres (1,401 ft) above sea level on the French Mediterranean."

Eze is a hill top medieval town just outside of Nice and Villefranche.
"Èze, renowned tourist site on the French Riviera, is famous worldwide for the view of the sea from its hill top. Its Jardin botanique d'Èze is known for its collection of cactus and succulents, as well as its panoramic views. Walt Disney spent a significant amount of time in Èze."
Eze was a little treat on our trip.  I had never actually heard of this place before . . . but I am so glad we visited!

Walking up the hill was a little workout . . . but well worth it!
Same dress as other posts b/c it was allllll the same day! Lol

Atop Eze in the in the "jardin" overlooking the French Riviera

Smooches! Love my cute travel buddy:-)

Fragonard! Famous for mixing your own perfume . . . I picked up some bath time fun . . . kind of picky with my perfumes

Seems like lots of rich people stay up here . . . everyone was gawking at these cars, guess one was a super rare something or other?  I dunno cars!

A map of Le Jardin:
Cactus hugger!

Cute shops all over Eze:

My fave photo of Eze, France:

Isn't it cute here in Eze?
The view is way better in person, but you can get a good idea of the beauty of this old town in France.

Salut!

~Nice, France~

Nice, France
What a gorgeous city!
The city is nicknamed Nice la Belle which means "Nice the Beautiful"
No wonder they have filmed some romantic movies here . . .

(psssst these are from our last vaca . . . catching up on posting/editting before the next one! Lol slacker!!!)

The buildings on the "Promenade des Anglais" are so pretty:

And I bet the hotels are crazy expensive on the Promenade
Cutie!

What a gorgeous beach!

And I love the buildings and colors . . . look at the yellow!

Anywhere in France you can find amazing cafe's and bakeries . . . always gotta test the local foods right?  Yum!
That's our Nice, France experience . . . next up from our last vaca: Eze, France.

Trying to get caught up by next Monday!
4 more posts of vacation in Europe pics, stay tuned!

How was your weekend?!

~European Vaca Day #8: Villefranche, France~

3 weeks and counting until the next vaca
which means I have to hurry and catch up on posting the last one . . . before we take another onslaught of thousands of pics!

Villefranche, France
aka Villefranche-sur-Mer
An absolutely stunning, breathtaking place to visit!

What I love about this place:

The bakeries (yum!)
The local fish and produce markets
The amazing views
The colorful buildings
The gorgeous beaches

Pretty much the prettiest port town we saw.
We only had about 4 hours here . . . but we walked all over and enjoyed it all!
Here's our day in a beautiful town:

Mmmm bakeries! One of my fave (of many) parts of France

Love the narrow streets and fun colored buildings!

Ha ha this guy gave us a thumbs up after the pic, how cute he carries his dog around with him on his ride.
(ok let's not even think about how unsafe it is, it's France not the U.S!)

Silly hubby!

See, pretty amazing huh?!
No wonder so many movies are filmed in this beautiful harbor!

Next stop: Nice, France.

Enjoy your week loves!!!
