Another Fabulous Giveaway!
***This one's from Monica at AbbaDabbaBags***

How cute is she?!

Monica makes super cute bags of all sizes, with a range of all lovely colors.
I love them all!
(Check out her website here)

These bags were made for bridesmaid gifts
What a fun idea! So the bags are all the same colors on the outside, but each have different colors on the inside to distinguish them apart.
 Clever!!!
Wish I knew her when I got married:-)

The lovely Monica has offered one of her best-selling
(a $26 value!!!)
for my
~Giveaway~

My fave!

So to get to know more about Monica and her fabulous bags:

Me: Where do you gather inspiration from?

Monica: I gather inspiration from every where. I love to get color combination ideas from my fabric collection or just from seeing someone in a fun outfit. My bag styles are usually inspired from my own life. If I find I suddenly need a bigger or smaller bag then I design one.

Me: Give us 2 words to describe your personal style:

Monica: always evolving

Me: What influenced you opening your Etsy shop?

Monica: When my oldest son was born I couldn't find a diaper bag to suit my needs so I made one. It got a lot of attention and eventually people started asking for them. I sold them by word of mouth until a friend told me about Etsy. I was hooked within my first hour on the site. I opened my shop about a month later.

Me: Tell us a little bit about your creative process

Monica: I like to start with my fabric. I pull out a few colors and start playing around with different design combinations. I often start with one bag or color in mind and end up with something totally different. I also like to keep a pad of paper with me to write down ideas whenever I get them. With 3 kids and a busy life I tend to forget everything I don't write down these days.

Me: What do you want others to get out of your items/shop?

Monica: I hope my customers get great enjoyment from their AbbaDabba Bags. I want them to be both beautiful and highly functional. If they love the look of the bag but never use it then I have failed to design something useful. I also want to create products that people are proud to give as gifts.

Me: What is your favorite item in your shop, or your top-seller?

Monica: My top selling item is the Deluxe Clutch. It is pretty and useful and comes in so many colors that people love them. This was another style I made because I needed it myself. My personal favorite style is the Day Bag though. I change the bag I carry a lot but I always tend to go back to my trusty Day Bag. It is such an easy size for everything a busy mom needs during the day.

Me: Besides your wonderful items in your shop, what are some of your other creative outlets/hobbies?

Monica: Right now most of my energy is spent on my 3 month old, 3 year old and 6 year old. But I do enjoy making little sun dresses and skirts for my daughter. She is a real girly-girl and loves to pick out her own fabrics from my stash.
(Aww!)
