~Mosaic Monday and my busy weekend!~

Happy Happy Monday!

How was your weekend?

Ours was great!

Busy as it was, we also had some relaxing time to re-coup . . .

 And dream about sunny weather . . .

Oh I can't hardly wait for some sunshine and warmth!

Anywho our weekend:

*Watched several movies (Wallstreet Never Sleeps, Inception)*

*Girl's Breakfast!*

(Met with 6 of my girls Sat morning for some good old catching up and chatting)

*Matinee with the hubby to see "The Rite"*

(kinda freaky!)

*Happy Hour with the hubby at Lot No. 3*

The food and drinks were good! AND we actually ended up getting all of our food FREE! Yup we saved like $40 b/c we were patient while it took an hour to get our food.  Funny thing was . . . we didn't even notice! Good drinks, and great discussions and the time flew by.  But hey I'll take free food, thanks!

Was soooo good.  So I'll admit, we're not the best at going on a regular basis.  BUT it's funny b/c I feel like when I do go, it's just what I need to hear.

*Remodel project with the In-Laws*

We're helping the in-laws remodel and spruce up their house.  Many trips to Home Depot, and discussions on what to do.  I feel like I'm a host on HGTV! Will post pics of our many projects, and we are excited to be creative and help!

Can't wait to paint this brick, tile the bench, and rip out the gold and get a new fireplace screen, etc.

*Finished Jane Eyre*

Yup finished my book, now on to the next classic! Looooove how classics are FREE on the Kindle!!!

*Made and shipped recent orders from Etsy shop*

*Made some fun items for my Valentine's Swap, so many ladies participating this will be fun! My very first blog swap, and many more to come!!!*

Nice and relaxing!

*Saw "Eat Pray Love" with my girls*
Loved the book, and equally loved the movie.  Kind of inspiring!

*Watched 3 movies via Netflix*
Who doesn't love Netflix?!
We saw The Green Zone, The Backup Plan, and Repo Men.

Definately don't watch Repo Men, yuck!!! Sometimes ratings are wrong, I was cringing and my stomach hurt the whole time, BUT it had Jude Law and I thought it would get better.  I can't start something and not finish it, but this one I wish I stopped. 
I'm naive and love happy movies:-)

*Went to our favorite English Pub to watch my favorite futbol team Chelsea win!*

Yup my team won, so my hubby lost the bet.  Now he is on dish duty for the week ha ha ha.

*Horse Races at Emerald Downs*

In continuation of my hubby's 31st Birthday Bashes we went to enjoy a day at the track with the fam, and what a day we had!

We figured out a strategy and started with $40 (we are not big gamblers!)

Before each race we went down to chk out the horses

Soooo hubby wins 3 out of 6 races, and I win 4 out of 6.  BUT he wagered way more!

So at the end of the day I win around $100!!!

BUT my hubby wins over $700, how does that happen?!

The lady at the counter kept laughing when he came up to collect his winnings, and told him to buy a lotto ticket! So he did, maybe his luck will continue?

Weekend in review :-)

Ok first and foremost I want to give a big shoutout to New Orleans!!!

Ok so I didn't really care who won this year, it was a toss up and I would be happy either way, both GREAT teams

BUT my hubby and I had a bet, I picked the Saints to win,

SO I WIN!!!!

and how stinkin cute is Drew Brees celebrating with his family?!

Ok so here's a quick breakdown of my amazingly happy relaxing weekend:

*On of my *besties* Melissa had her baby!!!*

 Timothy Xavier Brown Jr. was born Wed Feb. 3rd, coming in a week late and at 7 lbs. 9 oz. 

He's BEAUTIFUL!!!

Although we're not quite at the point in our marriage to have our own,

I sure love being "Auntie Tammy"!!!

*My In-Laws are the best!!!*

Just sayin! Sooo I get home Friday after a LONG day at work to a gift . . .

Yup Andy's parents are stinking cute, always thinking about me and spoiling me, which I am not used to.  But I'll take it! Lol they are the cutest lil couple ever, we love to be around them and it's so cute how they still are so in love after 35 + some odd years of marriage.

Anywho I LOVE this bag, from Aldos

Nowwww I need this dress from Forever 21 to rock with the purse:-)

Tooo bad it's not warm and summery outside yet.  Oh well I'll just have to throw on a jacket right?  :-)

*I planned a Girl's Breakfast and movie date for Saturday*

It was a blast and sooo fun to get together.  Since we're all grown it seems like these events don't occur often enough! So we went to breakfast

bright and early at Pesos downtown Seattle.  Yum yum.  Many yummy plates were eaten, coffee and *mimosas* drank, stories told, and good times had.  And OF COURSE lots of laughter:-)

I LOVE MY GIRLS!!!

then we went to go see "Dear John".  I admire Nicholas Sparks for his amazing writing skills.  I've read many of his books and

"he's got mad skillz"

Anyway so the movie was cute, but wtf about the ending?  Not going to ruin it for ya'll . . .

 but I decided to make up my own ending to satisfy my fairy tale thinking:-)

*Andy, Toby, Capri and I went to take a nice scenic walk through Discovery Park* 

 One of our fave parks (we even had our engagement photos here! More on that in another post) and the view was gorgeous.  Clouds with a little sunshine.  Lovely!

*SUSHI*

Andy and I had our weekly "date night", and went to our fave Sushi place.  I just LOVE the conveyer belt sushi b/c you can taste anything and everything you want.  We just keep on grabbing plates and eatting until we can't look at sushi anymore. 

GREAT for my fitness challenge!

***Also did LOTS of crafts, went to gym 2x, watched football, and just cuddled in with the hubby***
