Cheri: "My daughter suggested that I sell my candies on Etsy."

Cheri: "I think about a candy I would love to eat, but cannot easily find or is not available.

Then I experiment making it, and finally test it out on the family."

Me: "What do you want your customers to get out of your shop?"

Cheri: "I want my customers to enjoy eating the candy I send them, and that it should be visually appealing. I would like them to be happy with my customer service and just a good positive experience all round."

Lemon Nougat

Me: "What is your favorite candy in your shop?"

Cheri: "It's hard to pick a favorite candy, because it's like picking a favorite child. I love them all!"

Dark Chocolate Pecan Caramel

Me: "So along with your skills of making amazing candies, what are your other hobbies?"

Cheri: "I love to knit, and I've also made many quilts in the past which I've given as gifts.

Baking is another creative outlet for me and my family and friends love it! Jewelry making is another hobby that I have enjoyed."

Strawberry Nougat

Me: "Is there anything else you would like to share with all of us?"

Cheri: I am always thinking of new and delicious candies to make for my customers.

Aloha!

So I know it's been crazy hot around the nation, but not here! Ha ha

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE living in Seattle and wouldn't want to move anywhere else, BUT this year has been colder and more rainy than normal.

Now that we've had a few consecutive days of sun I'm in HEAVEN!

So all I'm dreaming about lately is fun bright tropical clothes . . .

hmmm like what I'd wear on a trip to Fiji or Tahiti (some day!!!)

~Saturday~

My family birthday celebration!

(Oh yes, I drag my birthday out as long as possible! Hee hee)

ALSO Sat was my older brother's birthday, so we celebrated our joint birthdays at my Grandma and Grandpa's house!

My lil sis Annie and me playing Apples to Apples.  Love that game!

Mmmm more cake!

It was soooo good to see the family:-)

There are so many of us, sometimes it's hard to make it all work!

Then Saturday night we went to go see the Goo Goo Dolls at the Snoqualmie Casino!

(ok and now I know I'm getting old . . . going to a casino for concerts?!)

*Me cheesin' it up*

Sooo when my hubby and I first started dating . . . a few years ago:-)

We made a "to do" list of all the things we wanted to do together! So Goo Goo Dolls was one of them.  CHECK! Part of my b-day present, thanks baby!

While we were waiting we hit the casino . . .

But were unsuccessful. 

People watching was interesting! Hmmm don't think we're cut out for the casino crowd . . . but had fun!!!

~Sunday~

For Andy's dad's birthday celebration we went to Emerald Downs to the Horse Races! He does that every year, we have a blast!

Here's the in-laws, aren't they cute?

Ok I was stoked!!! My $3 to win bet on horse #4 was 20-1!!! AND it won!!!!! So my $3 turned into $60, SWEET!

I know it isn't a ton of moolah,

but the fact that I was a WINNER was all that mattered:-)

Was a paid day home! We normally work 4 tens, but since Monday was a holiday we got Tues off, sweet! So I caught up in blogland, worked on posting more items in my Etsy, cleaned cleaned cleaned.
